She will remain a member of the BioInterfaces group to work on the project “Cellular uptake and long-term hazards of inhaled nanoplastics”. The project is part of the SUSBIO profiling action granted to Tampere University by the Research Council of Finland in the PROFI 7 Call. The project aims to contribute to the specific goal of “reducing the accumulation of microplastics in different living environments”.
The project is co-supervised by University Lecturer Angela Serra from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology.
