Complex Systems
Welcome to the homepage of the Complex Systems (CS) group! We are part of the Computational Physics Laboratory at the Physics Unit of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Tampere University. Our team led by Professor Lasse Laurson works on several topics in computational statistical physics of complex systems, focusing especially on collective phenomena in materials. Example topics include domain wall dynamics in ferromagnets, crack propagation in solids, and plastic deformation of crystals. You can find more information about us and our research in the links above.
