Edulit Researchers Present at the Society for Text & Discourse Meeting in Padua, Italy

Edulit researchers will present their latest findings at the 35th Annual Meeting of the Society for Text & Discourse, taking place July 9–11, 2025, in Padua, Italy.

Essi Viertola, also representing the EDUCA doctoral pilot, will present a study validating the Deep Cloze Test, originally developed by Jensen and Elbro, for Finnish sixth graders.

Laura Kanniainen and Riikka Anttonen will share findings from the Critical project's assessment study, which included over 700 students from grades 4, 6, 8, and 10. Laura presents insights into online credibility evaluation skills and Riikka shares how these skills and task-related self-efficacy beliefs were associated across different grade levels.
