EDUneighbours had an active conference year

EDUneighbours disseminates the results of their research. 2021 was an extremely busy year for conferences.

The pandemic has not slowed down the pace in  the EDUneighbours. For us, the year 2021 was extremely busy for conference participation. The EDUneighbours organised panels to two internationally renowned conferences in the field of Russian Studies. In June at the Fifth Annual Tartu Conference for Russian and Eastern European Studies  the EDUneighbours presented their papers in the  panel   ‘Challenges in Internationalization of Higher Education in Postsocialist Russia and Cooperation with the EU Session’. As for October, we participated in the Aleksanteri Conference (Aleksanteri Institute, University of Helsinki), and had our panel  ‘Towards Good Neighbourliness? Russian Universities, Internationalisation and International Cooperation’. Both conferences were organized online. In addition, the EDUneighbours had its oma session ‘EU-Russia University Cooperation: Sustainability, Trust and Quality Assurance’ in the XII International Russian Higher Education Conference (RHEC), organized in a hybrid form in Moscow.  Our researchers took part in other conferences – both online and on-site,  too.  Check here for more information. If you are interested in their conference papers, please contact the researcher in question.
