Svetlana and Sirke were invited to take part in the Bavarian-Russian Conference that took place at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nurnberg, Germany, 9-10 November 2017. The conference was organised in cooperation with the university and BAYHOST – Bayerisches Hochschulzentrum fur Mittel-, Ost- und Sudosteuropa.
Both Svetlana and Sirke had the chance to introduce the project and some preliminary results of our research to mainly German and Russian participants. We hope that it was useful for the audience to compare their experiences of German-Russian cooperation in higher education to those of Finnish-Russian cooperation. At least we must say that the presentations of German and Russian university representatives were really interesting and enlightening.
