Jie Li’s doctoral dissertation in the field of Social Psychology titled A Holistic Approach to Employee Well-being and Mental Health: Causes, Connections, and Underlying Processes will be publicly examined at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Tampere University on Friday, 20 March 2026.
The dissertation takes a holistic perspective on employee well-being and mental health by exploring both positive and negative indicators of well-being at work. The work deepens our understanding of the causes, connections, and underlying processes of well-being, while offering valuable insights for building healthier and more sustainable workplaces.
The opponent will be Professor Marit Christensen from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and Professor Atte Oksanen will be serving as Custos.
