Programs / Codes
Wavefront Matching Code for Transverse Spatial Mode Conversion
The script takes one transverse spatial mode as an input and one as an output. The structures of the phase screens are calculated uses the wavefront matching technique. All detaisl and relevant files can be found on Zenodo: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3570622
When using the code, please cite the folllowing work: Hiekkamäki, M., Prabhakar, S., & Fickler, R. “Near-perfect measuring of full-field transverse-spatial modes of light ” Optics Express 27 (22), 31456 (2019)
Games
Endless Fun – a quantum card game in high dimensions
The Experimental Quantum Optics group developed the first card game in which you can have “Endless Fun” in programming a high-dimensional quantum computer. More information, including the instructions, a pdf-file to print the cards and the program to evaluate the outcome of the game (python code as well as executable application), can be downloaded from Zenodo: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.4016359 and found on the arXiv: https://arxiv.org/abs/2107.12007
When using/distributing the cards and code, please dont forget to reference it:

We are happy to receive any feedback or comments.
Have endless fun playing… : )
NOTE: The general idea is strongly based on the great card game Q|Cards> by Oskari Kerppo, Jorden Senior, Sabrina Maniscallo, Guillermo Garcia-Perez, Samuli Jääskeläinen, Sylvia Smatanova, Krista Erkkilä, Elie Abraham, which is a very similar game using only qubits.
