Quantum programming workshop March 5-7, 2020

Tampere University will host a quantum programming workshop held by QDrive

The workshop is organized by EQO, the Theoretical Optics & Photonics group as well as Metaplasmonics group of the Tamper University.

It is aimed at interested students from all fields. The three-day workshop will give participants an introduction to quantum computing and quantum programming. Participants will learn the basics of classical and quantum systems, fundamental quantum algorithms and quantum protocols, and how to write basic quantum. There is no specific prerequisite except knowing the basics of programming languages (i.e. variables, statements, loops, conditionals, and arrays), trigonometry, as well as matrices, vectors, and operations on them.

There is no registration fee and free lunches will be provided. The language of the event is English.

The training will take place at Tampere University Hervanta Campus. More detailed information on the location and installation and configuration instructions for own laptops will be provided to those registered.
