Congratulations to the great work Madona has done during her Master thesis under the supervision of Mikko Huttunen and his Nonlinear Optics Group … and also a bit in the EQO group. For this nice work, Madona was now awarded the ‘Best Master’s Thesis Award in Optics 2021’ at University of Eastern Finland (Joensuu), which is the university where she studied and graduated. The award is funded by Huawei Finland.
We are glad to see that her hard and nice work was also recognized by her home university and we are happy to have her now continuing her PhD studies at Tampere.
