Our recent experiment realizing a quantum finite automaton (QFA) using twisted photons has been published in the Quantum Journal!
Together with our collaborator from the University of Latvia, Abuzer Yakaryilmaz, we were able to experimentally show a quantum advantage of a QFA when using up to 4 parallel operating qubits implemented on a single complex twisted photon.
