We are welcoming Jakob Weiss and Cristofero Oglialoro to the group.
Jakob joined us for his Master thesis in which he will explore ultrashort electron and ion beam pulses. His thesis is also co-supervised by our collaborator Ben Stickler from Ulm University, Germany, and we look forward to interesting matter wave experiments.
Cristo is joining us as a visiting PhD student from the Technical University Darmstadt, where he is doing his PhD with Enno Giese. Together, we will explore the cylindrical Talbot effect on the quantum domain in theory and experiments.
