Since the beginning of January, the EQO group has grown a bit bigger.
Madona started her Master thesis with us working on nonlinear optical effects of metamaterial in multi-pass configurations. The thesis is jointly supervised with Mikko Huttunen and the Nonlinear Optics Group.
Oussama, our new PhD student, will work on integrating spatial mode transformations and their use in high-dimensional quantum optics experiments.
