Electronics enables modern society
We research comprehensively electronics and embedded systems for industrial, healthcare, and consumer domains. The centre’s research expertise covers the areas of printed electronics, thin-film devices and circuits, RF and antenna technology, microelectronics, photonics-electronics co-integration and packaging technology, and low-level software. Our research and technology solutions help advance, for example ambient intelligence and sensors solutions, wearable smart devices, wireless medical devices, IoT-devices, and energy harvesting for low-power applications.
We are a strong collaborator with industry and academic units. Major part of our research funding is from European Union, Business Finland, Academy of Finland, and technology industry.
