This webinar aimed at increasing knowledge on the research possibilities that both FinnGen and FinRegistry provide.
Time: Thursday 23.3.2023 at 14-16.15
FinnGen study is the largest Finnish biomedical study to date. It combines the genetic information of altogether 0,5 M Finns with information available in Finnish national health care registries. This combination enables studies of the genetic background of numerous diseases.
FinRegistry, maintained by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare and the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland (FIMM), is a national and epidemiologically representative register of Finnish health information that can be used to develop different predictive models.
The best possible exploitation of the gathered material requires collaboration of specialists in different disciplines. Therefore, we welcomed all researchers interested in the topic to this webinar.
