Researchers in Tampere University involved in a study showing artificial intelligence can reach the level of pathologist in grading prostate cancer tumors

Researchers from Tampere University, together with among other Karolinska University and Radboud University Medical Center, were involved in a broad international validation study of using artificial intelligence (AI) in diagnosing prostate cancer grading. The research shows that these methods identify the grading with the precision level of a pathologist. Such tools could be used to support medical diagnoses.
