Attracting Talent

With strategic recruitment of post docs, staff scientists and tenure track professors, we aim at bringing in scientific expertise from abroad in the emerging area of health data science.

Seed Funding for Health Data Research

We support research through providing seed funding for scientific projects in the area of health data science. We advertise the calls for funding broadly within the community. See projects that have obtained seed funding. 

Restructuring of Curriculums to Support the Area of Health Data Science

We aim at creating new study modules and programmes as necessary to support health data science research. Tampere University currently provides training in among other bioinformatics, health informatics, biotechnology, data sciences, biostatistics, and epidemiology.
