Tutkimuksessa kerättäviä henkilötietoja käytetään yksinomaan tutkimuskysymykseen vastaamiseen. Henkilötietojen käsittelyperuste on rekisteröidyn itsensä antama suostumus. Rekisteröidyllä on oikeus perua antamansa suostumus milloin tahansa. Suostumuksen peruminen ei vaikuta ennen suostumusta suoritetun henkilötietojen käsittelyn laillisuuteen. Henkilötietoja säilytetään viisi vuotta. Rekisteröidyllä on oikeus päästä käsiksi hänestä kerättyihin tietoihin, oikeus oikaista virheelliset tiedot, oikeus siirtää tiedot järjestelmästä toiseen, oikeus saada henkilötietonsa poistetuksi, sekä oikeus vastustaa tietojen käsittelyä, automaattista päätöksentekoa ja profilointia. Hänellä on myös oikeus tehdä valitus valvontaviranomaisille. Henkilötietoja käsittelevät vain Aino Kuula ja Jari Hietanen, eikä niitä luovuteta ulkopuolisille tahoille. Henkilötietoja ei luovuteta Suomen ulkopuolelle. Henkilötietojen luovuttaminen on täysin vapaaehtoista, eikä kieltäytymisellä ole negatiivisia seuraamuksia.
The personal data collected in the study is used solely to answer the research question. The basis for processing personal data is the consent given by the participants themselves. The participants have the right to withdraw at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of the processing of personal data prior to consent. Personal data are stored for five years. The participants have the right to access the collected data, the right to correct incorrect information, the right to transfer data from one system to another, the right to have his personal data removed, and the right to oppose the processing of data, automated decision making and profiling. They also have the right to appeal to the supervisory authorities. Personal data are processed only by Aino Kuula and Jari Hietanen and are not disclosed to third parties. Personal data will not be disclosed outside Finland. The disclosure of personal data is entirely voluntary and there are no negative consequences for the refusal.
