Timo has successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis titled “Nonlinear Optics Using Resonant Metamaterials” on Friday 22nd of March, 2024. Professor Rupert Oulton from Imperial College London served as the opponent, with Professor Martti Kauranen acting as the responsible supervisor and custos, while Dr. Mikko Huttunen was the supervisor of the thesis.
