September was the last month Dr. Arnaud Lemiere was funded by European Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND Action to work on the development of composite fibers containing persistent luminescent particles. Fibers with persistent luminescence were successfully drawn from preforms in collaboration with our partners, at Clemson University (SC, USA).
