Wecolme to Natalia, new PhD student

I am a new Researcher and PhD Student at Tampere University. My name is Natalia and my cat’s name is Basti. We came from Saint Petersburg.

I will tell you more about us in 10 facts:

1. Our home region is the Southern Ural Mountains
2. I am truly excited about the topic of biophotonics and its application in medicine
3. I can play various musical instruments
4. I study Finnish and German
5. My cat’s nickname is Kolbasa (sausage in Russian)
6. I love everything new and unknown and, of course, I love traveling
7. My cat likes to exorcise evil spirits at night.
8. With the university team, we won the championship in Parliamentary Debate among the universities of St. Petersburg.
9. I have been doing theatrical art for 10 years as an actress and musical accompanist.
10. My beliefs: Wir vertrauen darauf, dass die Zeit linear verläuft. Dass sie auf ewig gleichförmig voranschreitet, bis in die Unendlichkeit. Aber die Unterscheidung zwischen Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft ist nichts als eine Illusion. Gestern, heute und morgen folgen nicht aufeinander. Sie sind in einem ewigen Kreis miteienander verbunden. Alles ist miteinander verbunden.
