Congratulations to Matti and to Hang Zhang - our close collaborator from Aalto University - for winning the poster prize at the International Symposium on Macrocyclic and Supramolecular Chemistry 2019. And our sincerest thanks to Pierangelo, Giancarlo, and Francesca and their team for bringing together 750 supramolecular chemists to the amazing venue of Lecce, Italy.
SPM representatives in this meeting were Arri, Matti, and Antti. We were proud to see ca 20 participants from Finland, which is a respectable number!
Our posters dealt with smart actuators, Azobenzene-based optical humidity sensing, and iodine-catalysed cis-trans isomerization.
