Several members at SPREAD research group will actively take part in the architectural research symposium ATUT 2019 with the theme ‘Architecture and City as a Home’, to be held on 3-4 October 2019 at the Tampere University School of Architecture in Tampere, Finland.
University Lecturer Pekka Passinmäki will chair the panel discussion ‘Feeling home in a city’. The ‘Sustainable residential design’ round table will be chaired by University Instructor Jenni Poutanen, who will present the paper ‘Public meets private at the university? The effects of student-centred learning on facilities’ within the ‘Collaboration, learning, discourse’ table, as well as the paper ‘University campus as a home’ (with Suvi Nenonen and Juho Rajaniemi) within the ‘Shared city’ table. Associate Professor Fernando Nieto has acted as paper reviewer as a member of the Scientific Committee of the research symposium.
