Visitors to our site surely remember the Academy of Finland-funded FEMCORUS project (2021–25) run by TaRC member Saara Ratilainen.
The project is now approaching its halfway point, which means it is time to take stock and look ahead. What has the project achieved so far and what should still be done?
To discuss these questions, the FEMCORUS project organizes an international conference Rewired and revamped? Media & trans/national feminisms in Europe and beyond on 11–12 May 2023.
The conference will be held in different parts of Tampere University Main Building (address: Kalevantie 4, Tampere). Some of the conference events will also be accessible online.
The conference program comprises three keynote addresses by renowned scholars in feminist and gender studies, 12 panel sessions presenting latest research, and a roundtable on methods.
The keynote sessions are open for public. You can also register as audience to the panel sessions. Zoom links for Keynotes 2 and 3 will be provided upon registration. The full program with keynote speaker information and panel session details can be found HERE.
