FEMCORUS Seminar on December 8: Feminist Self-Presentation and Algorithmic Economies of Visibility

The FEMCORUS project's seminar series continues on Thursday 8 December with a discussion on feminist self-presentation in the algorithmic era.

The FEMCORUS research project team invites you to our last hybrid seminar of this year organized as a part of the FEMCORUS seminar series.

Laura Savolainen (PhD student, University of Helsinki) will present the topic Feminist self-presentation and algorithmic economies of visibility and discuss filtering feminism, algorithms and online affects.

The seminar will be organized on Thursday 8 December 2022, 2–4 pm (EET) in a hybrid format. In physical space, we will convene at Tampere University, Pinni B0016 (address: Kanslerinrinne 1), and virtually on Zoom.

Everyone is welcome, but please register in advance! To participate, fill out the registration form and a link to Zoom will be sent to you.
