Next week, our colleagues in Helsinki will organize a seminar China and Ecological Civilisation with Prof. Julia C. Strauss (School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London).
The seminar is based on her new study on how China approaches forestry, natural resources and forest landscape restoration in developing countries. It should prove interesting listening for anyone interested in China and/or ecology.
Professor Strauss is currently visiting the Viikki Tropical Resources Institute (VITRI) at the Department of Forest Sciences at the University of Helsinki.
The seminar with her will be held on Monday 30 May, 13:30-14:30 (Helsinki time, GMT+3). The venue is Room A118 in the Topelia building, University of Helsinki (address: Unioninkatu 38 A, Ground Floor, Room A118).
Everyone is welcome to this face-to-face-only seminar! No prior registration is needed.
