Seminar program

Innovation Studies Group (ISG) is a part of the Research Centre for Science, Technology and Innovation Studies (TaSTI), Faculty of Social Sciences, Tampere University.

The group’s research focuses on innovation activities, innovation policy, and the role and significance of innovation in contemporary societies. The group’s interests extend beyond single organizations to encompass broader innovation environments, including innovation (eco)systems, communities, and open innovation platforms. Over time, ISG has increasingly emphasized the inclusion and expansion of innovation activities across new countries and regions (particularly in the Global South), diverse sectors, and a wide range of societal stakeholder groups.
