Half-Integer harmonics, THz-to-Visible Conversion and Strained Graphene

Check out our newly published work in APL Photonics, which has been selected as Editor’s Pick. We study how bending a flake of graphene influences the generation of harmonics. Our findings show that two main effects take place: the efficient generation of half-integer harmonics, and the possibility to efficiently convert THz light into visible one!
