”Ports, Cities, People. Workshop on Mediterranean world from 300 BCE to 700 CE”, 21st-22nd August, 2019, Tampere University

The workshop is organised by the project Segregated or Integrated? – Living and Dying in the Harbour City of Ostia, 300 BCE–700 CE, financed by the Academy of Finland and Tampere University. On the first day of the workshop, Wednesday, 21st August, lectures by Professor Ray Laurence, Macquarie University, Professor Veronique Dasén, University of Fribourg, and Professor Marxiano Melotti, Università Niccolo Cusano, Rome, from 10-12 and 13-16 with discussion. On the second day of the workshop, Thursday, 22nd August, open seminar for the papers of doctoral students and post docs, from 10-15 with discussion. Proposals can be submitted to katariina.mustakallio@tuni.fi  (deadline 12th August).
