Written by researchers and students at Tampere University, with occasional guests from visiting scholars and collaborations, Tampere Urban Research Perspectives is a blog dedicated to exploring the complexities, challenges, and opportunities within urban environments. The blog unites three urban studies initiatives of Tampere University – TURNS (Tampere University Research Network on Sustainability), STUE (Sustainable Transformation of Urban Environments), and SUD (Sustainable Urban Development degree programme) – creating a multidisciplinary platform to explore the future of cities.
