Tampere Urban Research Perspectives
We are thrilled to announce the launch of Tampere Urban Research Perspectives, a blog dedicated to exploring the complexities, challenges, and opportunities within urban environments. The blog will serve as a collaborative publishing platform for our research community, bringing together TURNS (Tampere University Research Network on Sustainability), STUE (Sustainable Transformation of Urban Environments), and SUD (Sustainable Urban Development degree programme).
The blog features contributions from urban researchers and students at Tampere University, along with guest posts from visiting scholars and other collaborators. We embrace both traditional and innovative approaches to research and expression, offering fresh perspectives on key themes in urban studies, highlighting ongoing projects, sharing interviews and dialogues, and celebrating recent dissertations. We also welcome pieces that cover inspiring events and study trips organized by our interdisciplinary urban research community at Tampere University.
