Demographic diversification, spatial segregation, and shifting social dynamics are reshaping how people live, interact, and experience city life. The profound transformations undergoing in cities test scholars and practitioners alike and call for innovative solutions and experimentation. While many cities already promote sustainable transitions, tackling these on-going and complex transformations demand cross-sectoral collaboration, inclusive dialogue, and innovative thinking.

This TURNS Seed Event invites participants into a panel discussion centered on urban sustainability and societal transformation. Our focus is on how people, communities, and diverse stakeholders engage in shaping more sustainable urban futures. We will explore the topics of participation, accessibility, and inclusion in light of recent technological advances in urban planning and innovation. The panelists are invited to reflect on how urban planning and policy can reflect the voices of diverse populations, as well as how new technologies could help to imagine and foster sustainable transformations.

By bringing together experts from various disciplines and sectors, the event aims to spark conversations that could pave way for co-creating actionable insights. The audience will have a chance to engage in the discussion and present questions.

After the panel, coffee is served. For the purpose of the coffee service, we kindly ask you to fill in the registration form.
