Investigating the (work)home: Presentation, book launch & wine reception (10 December 2025)

We warmly welcome you to join us to celebrate the closure of the project T-winning Spaces 2035 on Wednesday, 10 December 2025 from 18.00 – 20.00 at The Finnish Labour Museum Werstas, Galleria Bertel. The event will present the research conducted by the ASUTUT – Sustainable Housing Design research group from Tampere University and consortium partners, and will be accompanied by a book launch, wine reception, and experimental spatial research practices.

Within the framework of the T-winning Spaces 2035 research project, our research group focused on investigating the social and spatial dimensions of the home as a space of work to reimagine sustainable and just homeworking environments for the future.

Part of our research has been synthesised into a Pattern Book, which functions as a spatial guidebook that helps dwellers, architects, planners, housing developers and other stakeholders unveil the potential of homes as spaces of work and as a checklist of good design and living environment adaptation practices. The Pattern Book will be launched during the event.

In addition, through the TURNS Enrichment Funding, we collaborated with Paikantujat / Those Who Become Placed to explore experimental and embodied forms of scholarly communication. The fruits of this collaboration will also be presented at this event.

The event is free of charge and open to the public. However, due to space availability, we kindly ask you to register by 30 November 2025.
