- Humphrey Kalanje / Architect and Urban Planner, Doctoral Researcher at Aalto University
Humphrey Kalanje is a seasoned architect and urban planner from Tanzania, currently pursuing doctoral research at Aalto University in Finland. His work focuses on sustainable urban development, particularly in the context of migration and how cities can adapt to the challenges posed by global displacement. - Eveliina Lyytinen, PhD / Associate Professor and Senior Researcher at the Migration Institute of Finland
Eveliina Lyytinen is an Associate Professor with extensive expertise in migration studies, refugee policy, and their implications for urban environments. She works as a senior researcher at the Migration Institute of Finland, where she explores the dynamics of forced migration, the role of cities in integrating displaced populations, and the questions of everyday encounters and trust. - Luca De Gol, MS / Architect and Urban Planner, City of Porvoo
Luca De Gol is an Italian architect and urban planner. He studied at the Universities of Architecture in Venice and Helsinki, where he obtained a Master’s in Architecture. He has worked for 12 years in several architectural offices in Helsinki, and for the past five years in the City of Porvoo. He would love Porvoo to take migration issues more into account in its strategic planning, ensuring that the city can be prepared to meet the needs of diverse populations in the context of ongoing global displacement.
