TURNS Research Funding Afternoon: New European Bauhaus NEB (26 May 2026)

Welcome to the TURNS Research Funding Afternoon on 26 May, dedicated to the New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative. Come and learn about NEB-related funding opportunities and discuss how sustainability, inclusiveness and aesthetics can be advanced through multidisciplinary research.

TURNS Research Funding & Networking Afternoon:

  • Time: Tuesday 26 May at 12-15
  • Venue: Lyhty Pavillion (Tampere University’s Main Building inner yard, City Centre Campus, Kalevantie 4, Tampere)
  • Participation: Part I hybrid (NEB info)  + Part II in-person only (NEB networking)
  • Registration: Please, sign up for the event by 21 May by filling in this form: REGISTRATION
  • In the form, you can choose which NEB Facility calls interest you the most.
  • Confirmation, calendar invitation and Teams link will be sent to the participants one week prior to the event and latest by 22 May.
  • The event is in English, free of charge and open to all. There are places for 35 participants.

New European Bauhaus (NEB) is a policy and funding initiative that makes green transition in built environments enjoyable, attractive and convenient for all. The initiative promotes solutions that are not only sustainable, but also inclusive and beautiful, while respecting the diversity of places, traditions, and cultures in Europe and beyond. Tampere University became a NEB partner in 2026.

Welcome to hear and discuss about the funding opportunities and partnership offered by NEB. The event is organized by TURNS research platform, INNATURE project and Tampere University’s preaward team.
