One paper accepted to IEEE Int. Conf. on Robotics and Automation (ICRA), 2020

TAU Robotics continues to further develop autonomous heavy machines. In their recent work TAU researchers demonstrate learning by demonstration where a human driver drives a pile loader and a machine learning system learns to "imitate" the task. Autonomous pile loader is demonstrated in the TAU Robotics Large Machinery Outdoor Lab.

The paper

  • Learning a Pile Loading Controller from Demonstrations (W. Yang, N. Strokina, N. Serbenyuk, R. Ghabcheloo and J.-\ K. Kämäräinen), In IEEE Int. Conf. on Robotics and Automation (ICRA), 2020.

will be presented in the largest robotics conference ICRA in Paris, France, in 2020 summer.
