3D Media Group is a partner in the MSCA Innovative Training Network proposal ‘Aerial Robotic Training for developing the next generation of European infrastructure and asset maintenance technologies (AERO-TRAIN)’, coordinated by Aalborg University, Denmark. The proposal has been positively evaluated and is now in the process of Grant Agreement preparation.
AERO-TRAIN will research and develop automation technologies based on aerial manipulators, synergetically combining Intelligent Mechatronics, Artificial Intelligence and Human-Machine Interaction. Within the project, 3D Media Group, through a newly employed early-stage researcher, will develop Immersive displays maintaining ultra-realism and 3D visual cues for the needs of remote aerial manipulator control.
