Our 5th Pharmacy-Chemistry Joint Meeting on 25-26of August brought together researchers from Tampere University, the University of Helsinki, the University of Turku, and Åbo Akademi for two days of inspiring science and collaboration in Turku.
We were honored to host distinguished invited speakers:

Prof. Tero Soukka (University of Turku), who presented on photon upconverting nanoparticles as reporters in bioaffinity assays.

Prof. Jessica Rosenholm (Åbo Akademi), who shared insights into mesoporous silica in drug delivery.
The scientific sessions featured exciting contributions from our researchers.
The program balanced high-quality scientific discussions with networking opportunities, informal exchanges, and shared moments during coffee breaks, free time in Turku, and a joint dinner .
The meeting once again demonstrated the strength of interdisciplinary collaboration between pharmacy and chemistry and highlighted the innovative research being conducted across our institutions.
