The project will take a look at the current status of audience development and education carried out in professional theatres.
Pilot projects in Lahti City Theatre, Rauma City Theatre and TTT-Theatre in Tampere are project?s platforms focusing on different views of audience development and education. In these pilot projects artists, education workers and marketers develop processes, which enhance and broaden specific individuals’ experience of the arts.
The project started in the end of 2008 and it will last until the end of 2010.
The project spreads information and new ideas in audience development and education and produces academic papers, work shops, seminars, reports and national website on the topic.
