This is a steep increase from the 33 applications last year and we take it as a very positive sign of growing interest and enthusiasm in sustainable digitalisation research across all faculties at Tampere University. The downside is that we will be able to fund only a minority of the applications, but we see so many great ideas and fruitful collaborations in the plans that we hope they will move forward one way or another.
The evaluation of the applications is now underway and the decisions will be made by the DigiSus management board on 5 March. All applicants will be informed of the decisions by 10 March 2026.
