Nelli Piattoeva was elected to the Executive Committee of the Comparative Education Society in Europe (CESE). The society promotes dialogue amongst scholars, specialists and young researchers from the field 
of education and other disciplines. More specifically, its purpose is to encourage and promote comparative and international studies in education.
The society organizes biannual international conferences that bring together leading scholars of comparative and international education from Europe and beyond. The next CESE conference will take place in 2020.
