The six editors of the forthcoming handbook (Jill Castek, Julie Coiro, Elena Forzani, Michelle Schira Hagerman, Carita Kiili, and Jesse Sparks) organized a structured poster session, “Advancing Digital Literacies Research Through Critical Collaborative Conversations.” The session consisted of ten posters from the chapter contributors representing various perspectives on digital literacies. In addition, the poster “Disrupting “By Invitation Scholarship” in International Digital Literacies Research” by the handbook editors shed light on the processes and decisions of editing the forthcoming handbook. The session ended with a fruitful discussion about defining the constantly changing and evolving construct of digital literacies.
