The Emerging Technologies Lab’s first Annual Research Report brings together key developments from 2025–2026. The report introduces ETL’s five research streams: AI in Society, Self and Technology, Work and Technology, Cyberhate and Cyberharassment, and Technology and Addictions.
Published as part of ETL’s new biannual newsletter, the report offers partners, collaborators, fellow researchers, and students an overview of the Lab’s latest work. It highlights recent peer-reviewed publications, completed doctoral dissertations, and ETL’s expanding data infrastructure. In addition, it presents the Lab’s research dissemination activities, media appearances, and international collaboration network, which connects ETL with universities, research institutes, organizations, and industry partners across the world.
Looking ahead, ETL will continue to conduct high-quality research on emerging technologies and digitalization, expand its internationally unique longitudinal datasets, explore new methodological solutions, and strengthen its role as a growing research community and research center.
