Korkeakoulutus muutoksessa -tutkimusryhmä (HET) ja yliopistopedagogiikan toiminnallinen ryhmä EDU-tiedekunnasta ovat perustamassa henkilöstölle ja väitöskirjatutkijoille suunnattua matalan kynnyksen tutkimusverkostoa.
Miksi verkosto perustetaan?
Yliopistopedagogisten koulutusten yhteydessä syntyy tieteenalarajat ylittäviä verkostoja, joille toivotaan usein jatkoa. Koulutusten aikana toteutetaan myös runsaasti kehittämishankkeita, joiden tulokset olisivat pienellä jatkokehittämisellä mahdollista saattaa julkaisukuntoon tai jakaa muulla tavoin yhteiseksi hyödyksi.
Pedagogisen tutkimusverkoston tarkoitus on tarjota yhteisöllistä tukea ja ohjausta matalan kynnyksen yhteisjulkaisemiseen ja tutkimusperustaiseen pedagogiseen kehittämiseen. Verkosto toteuttaa käytännössä yliopistopedagogiikan tunnusajatusta: ”Pedagoginen asiantuntijuus on yhteisön asiantuntijuutta.”
Miten verkosto toimii?
Verkostolla on säännöllisiä tapaamisia noin kaksi kertaa lukukaudessa. Tapaamiset sisältävät esimerkiksi lukupiirityyppistä keskustelua korkeakoulututkimuksen ajankohtaisista teemoista, osallistujien hankkeiden yhteiskehittelyä ja lyhyitä alustuksia.
Miten voin tulla mukaan tai tutustua toimintaan?
Tule mukaan 5.10.2023 klo 14.15–16 pidettävään avaus- ja ideointitilaisuuteen Lyhtyyn. Lyhty sijaitsee keskustakampuksella, Päätalon sisäpihalla.
Tilaisuuden ohjelmassa on verkoston perustamiseen liittyvän infon ja tutustumisen lisäksi teemaan liittyvä alustus ja keskustelua. Tapaamisen teemana on ”Korkeakoulupedagoginen tutkimus – mitä se on?” Pyydämme osallistujia tutustumaan teemaan etukäteen lukemalla artikkelin

The Higher Education in Transition (HET) research group and the Team of University Pedagogy from the Faculty of Education (EDU) are establishing a low-threshold research network for all staff members and doctoral researchers.
Why is the network being established?
During the university pedagogy courses, the participants work in interdisciplinary groups. Quite often the participants ask for opportunities to maintain these networks. Also numerous development projects are carried out in the courses, and with a little further development, their results could be published or shared for common benefit.
The purpose of the pedagogical research network is to provide communal support and guidance for low-threshold collaborative publishing and research-based pedagogical development. In practice, the network embodies the guiding principle of university pedagogy: “Pedagogical expertise is the expertise of the community.”
How does the network operate?
The network holds regular meetings approximately twice per semester. These meetings include discussions on current themes in higher education research, collaborative development of participants’ projects, and short presentations.
How can I get involved or learn more about the activities?
Participate in the opening and brainstorming event on October 5, 2023, from 2:15 PM to 4 PM at Lyhty. Lyhty is in the city centre campus.
The program for the event includes information about establishing the network, getting to know each other, brief presentations related to the day’s theme, and discussions. The theme of the meeting is “Higher Education Pedagogical Research – What Is It?” We kindly request participants to familiarize themselves with the theme in advance by reading the article:
