Research focus and goals
The starting point for our group’s research strategy is in action research that facilitates the group members’ own development work, continuing, via inquiry into development work done in Tampere University of Applied Sciences to study the development of team learning on a national level and into international research collaboration. Our interdisciplinary research group consists of specialists in the fields of professional education and pedagogy, wellbeing and health, business and engineering and technology.

- Team coaching and leadership as facilitation of learning and personal growth
- Situated aspects of teamwork and learning in teams
- Entrepreneurial teams and their learning process
- Dialogue as a method of organisational learning

- Team-based and collaborative learning in STEM education
Impact
The aim of our research group is to grow the impact of TAMK R&D&I through publishing research results in national and international forums. International collaboration with universities and working life organisations will also enhance TAMK’s impact as an international R&D&I actor.
LeGiT research group aims to grow TAMK’s project portfolio through assisting TAMK specialists in generating ideas and drafting plans for innovative new projects related to learning and growth in teams in TAMK’s different professional expertise areas.
