During the BIP Ethics education for future teachers, 18 students from Palacký University in Olomouc (Czech Republic), Tallinn University (Estonia) and Tampere University (Finland) together with 5 students from the Comenius University in Bratislava formed international teams and jointly analyzed the topic of ethical education of future teachers.
During the program, they studied professional articles, participated in workshops and discussions, as well as observed pedagogical practice at the Narnia Church Primary School in Bratislava. The acquired experience and skills became the basis for their research projects, which the participants of the event presented at a mini-conference at the end of the face-to-face part of the BIP.
As part of the program, students and teachers participating in the BIP took a guided tour of Bratislava, a beautiful view of the city at sunset from the “UFA” on the SNP Bridge, and a walk to Devín Castle.
We thank Mgr. Štefánia Ferková, PhD., and Mgr. Kristína Uhlíková from the Department of Pedagogy, Faculty of Education, Comenius University in Bratislava for organizing the BIP, and the Narnia Church Primary School and the National Institute of Education and Youth for their cooperation and provision of space. We are pleased that international partnerships give students the opportunity to understand the research topic more deeply, share inspiration, and build relationships across Europe.
