Tampere University has published the Data Management Policy for Open Research Inf rastructures. The policy provides general guidelines and principles for research infrastructures to promote responsible use and open access to their resources. Openness facilitates and accelerates the utilisation of scientific knowledge. Responsible conduct of research requires that processes and outputs are open to evaluation.
An important aim of the policy is to support infrastructure funding applications and to guide research infrastructures to write their own research data management policies. Also, the aim of the policy is to promote local and national services supporting openness of research.
The policy is aligned with national and international policies on responsible and open science.
