Terhi Esko (M..Soc.Sci. in Sociology), is a doctoral candidate at the University of Helsinki. Her dissertation examines topics relating to the societal impact of academic research in the Humanities and Social Sciences. She has been a member of the Center for Research on Activity, Development and Learning (CRADLE) and the Research Group for Comparative Sociology at the University of Helsinki. Her previous research themes include science, technology and innovation policy, comparative studies of research organizations, and public service production. Terhi Esko has skills in qualitative content analysis, framing, and narrative methods. She has published in Journals including Science and Public Policy, Minerva,and International Journal of Contemporary Sociology.She will defend her dissertation by the fall of 2019.
