We provide a major and minor for a MSc in safety engineering and management in Finnish. In addition, it is possible to pursue a doctoral degree (DSc) in safety management and engineering at Tampere University. We focus on safety and risk management, safety engineering and environmental risk management. The studies can be carried out also in the Open University.
Our graduates are safety engineering and management experts. They support and assist top management in the fields of safety and risk management. It is their responsibility to improve organisations’ safety processes and personnel’s safety knowledge. Their tasks may also include coordination of OHS and development of environmental and quality solutions. Our graduates work within the organisation as well as with the organisation’s external stakeholders.
