Tero-Petri Ruoko appointed as Assistant Professor of Photochemistry at Tampere University

Dr. Tero-Petri Ruoko was appointed as an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) of Photochemistry at Tampere University starting from 1st of February, 2024. His research interests focus on ultrafast spectroscopy, semiconductors, organic electronic devices, and light-emitting materials.

His newly established research group Spectroscopy and Light-Active Materials (SLAM) is a part of the Chemistry & Advanced Materials (CAM) research cluster, the PREIN Flagship on Photonics Research and Innovation, and the LIBER centre of excellence. The group focuses on the fields of advanced time-resolved optical spectroscopy, spectroelectrochemistry of organic electronic devices, and high-efficiency light-emitting materials.
