Sudharsana Pillailokam will pursue his doctoral research on using digital holographic microscopy for enhanced light-patterning of photonic components. The focus is to explore the photomechanics of light-sensitive polymers for the precise fabrication of various smart photonics materials. The global goal is to extend the real-world applications of DHM. Sudharsana is the first PhD student of SPM working within I-DEEP – Innovative Doctoral Education Ecosystem for Photonics consortium based on the activities of the Flagship for Photonics Research and Innovation PREIN, the photonics national research infrastructure FinnLight and Photonics Finland. The doctoral program curriculum is designed to evolve in tandem with the rapidly changing needs of the photonics sector, ensuring that the doctoral students are adapted to the development of the field.
A new PhD student Sudharsana Bhashyam Pillailokam starts in SPM. Welcome!
Sudharsana starts his PhD studies with SPM group within I-DEEP doctoral pilot and network of universities by PREIN.
